Who Is Amani Summer?
AmaniSummer, affectionately known as Summer, is an author, actress, performing artist, choreographer, songwriter, and honor student. Born and raised in the South, she knew that she wanted to use her God-given talents to uplift and entertain others.

When she was about 3 years old she said that she was going to be on TV. Her mom watched as she would put on shows around the house and knew that something needed to be done to help her dream come true. She was enrolled in acting classes at the age of 4 and was signed to the Carol Shaignaw Talent Agency.

She appeared in a few commercials but made her acting debut when she booked a major role in a horror film “The Angry Black Girl and Her Monster” written and directed by Bomani Story. Since then she has appeared on Hulu, Disney+, Amazon Prime, Shudder, and more!

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, she decided to use her love for writing to create a story. With the loving support of her mom, this became her first children’s book “Addy You ARE A Fish.”

The book publishing process inspired her to help other kid authors spread the word about their books. While waiting for the book to be published, she started a read-aloud channel. On the channel she reads children's books, highlights other kid authors, and goes on book adventures exploring the destinations from the books.

She used her love for dance and music to create her first dance song “Google Slide.” She co-wrote the song with E.Smith and it was produced by Titan Beats. The trio continued to work together to produce two more songs “OWN IT” and “In Tha Country”. Summer branched off on her own and wrote “Storytime With Summer” herself!

When she is not entertaining others, you will find her giving back to her community, serving in her church, using her creativity to make things, traveling, playing outside, and spending time with friends and family.
